Back so soon?

">Wasn't I just here yesterday?? I just couldn't stay away!

I was up late last night trying to list some of my great items to sell and didn't wake up until 7 this morning. Too late to keep the dog from piddling at the back door. I hate when that happpens.

Right now the sun is trying to shine, but 10 minutes ago it was pouring rain and later we are expecting snow. I thought I was living in Tennessee, not the Twilight Zone.

A huge lot of vintage postcards got sold last night to a lady in California and they were mailed this morning, but I still have lots more in my stores. They are really neat because they are from the estate of two retired spinster schoolteacher sisters from Kentucky. Their students sent them from their travels all over the world and they are fascinating. Come take a look at them!

My two birds are trying to get my attention, Jessie is on the bed yelling "Good night, goodnight!!, Goodbye!!, Yeah!!"
She has finally climbed down off the bed and climbed
my chair and up on my shoulder. Peewee is crawling allover my shirt in an attempt to get to my keyboard shelf where his favorite toy, my mouse, is located.

A New Year, A New Me?

Well, it is now 2009 and I'm not sure how many changes are in store, personally and globally.

The personal things I am sure of:

1. I will begin exercising again





2. I will begin practicing the guitar again





3. I will try hard to learn more about technical computer stuff





4. I will connect with more support people online

The global things I am sure of:

1. The U.S. has seen only the tip of the recession iceberg





2. Depression will be here for some time.





3. This country is NOT the boss of the world and needs to be minding it's own business





4. The barbarians in the middle east have always been at war and always will

I am going to try very hard to return here frequently, at least weekly, to share and learn.
